Sanders v. Mississippi County

The Clinic represented the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on a motion to intervene for the purpose of moving to unseal and oppose sealing of documents in case involving the death of a mentally ill young man at a rural Missouri jail. The court granted the motion to intervene filed by the Clinic on behalf of the Post-Dispatch, and the Clinic’s brief resulted in orders by the Court keeping a settlement hearing open to the public and requiring public disclosure of related documents.
